About the Artist

Patsy Connolly is an artist living in the Burren. 

Her work reflects the ephemeral beauty  and fragility of nature, her connection with, and deep concern for the environment, as well as her interest in Jungian, Archetypal Psychology and Alchemy.

Patsy Connolly received a BA in Fine Art in Galway in 2015, and regularly takes part in master classes and summer schools at The Burren College of Art, Lodestar School of Art, NY Studio School, West Dean and Schumacher College in the UK.

Her paintings have been exhibited at The Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin, The Royal Ulster Academy, Belfast, The Visual Carlow, Limerick College of Art, The Courthouse Gallery, Ennistymon, and KAVA, Kinvara. She has had Solo Exhibitions at The Burren College of Art, De Valera Gallery, Ennis, and The Russell Gallery.

She has a doctorate in Biology and worked previously in research and education, in Paris, Ghent, Waterford, Dublin and Galway.
